Check the Printer Connection

The first step is to check the connection between the printer and your computer

If you are using a USB connection, check the following things

  • Ensure that the USB cable is connected properly between the printer and your computer
  • Next make sure that the USB cable working properly and doesn’t have any damages

If you are using a wireless connection, check the following

  • Check if the internet is working properly
  • Ensure that the printer is connected to the wireless network

If you are using the Bluetooth connection, check the following

  • Ensure that your printer is near your computer
  • Perform the pairing process again, then try to print

Make it as your Default Printer

Sometimes making your Epson printer as the default printer may get rid of your problems

  • To begin with, open the ‘Control Panel’ on your Windows computer
  • Thereafter open ‘Devices and Printers’

  • Now ensure that the ‘Status Type’ is set as ‘Automatic’ and ‘Service Status’ is ‘Running’
  • In case it’s not then set the ‘Status Type’ as ‘Automatic’ and click ‘Start’ below ‘Service Status’
  • Finally, click ‘OK’ to apply your changes

Clear the Print Jobs

  • Now open the Run window again on your computer, then type ‘services.msc’ and click ‘OK’
  • Thereafter open the ‘Print Spooler’, then click ‘Stop’
  • Next, open the Windows Explorer, then type ‘%windir%\System32\spool\PRINTERS’ in the address bar
  • Following this, clear all the files present in the folder
  • Now again open the ‘Print Spooler’ service and click ‘Start’
  • Finally, click ‘OK’ to save changes
  • Now close all the programs on your computer then switch it off
  • Following this, turn off your printer, then remove the power cord
  • Wait for a minute before reattaching the power cord and turning your printer on
  • Finally, try to print with your Epson printer, if the issue persists, go to the next step

Try Printing with Another Program

If you are trying to print with a particular program then you are facing this issue then try to print with another program

Check Printer Status

  • First, check if there is enough ink in the cartridges and toner
